I think if they followed TRUE Islam, then it would. WHat they are following now is purely cultural. My husband and I are both muslim, but from two different countries and cultures. Thankfully, I was highly educated and am still in college, so I know my rights ALONG with my duties. Where I am from, men are taught to help the women in the home, to be their best, to treat their wives with respect, to make their wives number 1, and to show appreciation. Where he is from, it's the total opposite and women are not even allowed to choose what to eat for any occasion. He tried pushing his cultural beliefs on me, and I fought back with Islam. Needless to say, I won. He told me that he learned a lot about his own religion and that he didn't know so much before. He didn't know that it is NOT my duty to clean up after him like he is my son, and he did not know that I have the right to work if I choose and to keep my earnings to do with as I please. He did not know that it is not my duty to cook. My only duty is to go to him in the bedroom when he calls for me and to respect him. I have the same bedroom rights over him as he does me. In many ways, women are above the men. Children are supposed to listen to their mother in all things first before they listen to their father, women don't have to pay for anything, women are not responsible for finances, men are supposed to feed and clothe their wives and children with what they are used to, in many cases even better.
Even in divorce, women have the first right to custody and father is 4th in line. If they divorce and the wife is still nursing, the father must pay for everything she needs even then. Even if she isn't nursing, he still needs to support her and the children financially. Basically, there really isn't any point in divorcing since the finances stay the same. If the world submitted to Islam, there would not be unwed mothers. Men and women alike would not have sex outside of marriage and widows could still live their lives as they chose to. Parents would be supported by their children and respected greatly. There would be no need for nursing homes or orphanages. The majority of daycares would be closed because women would be able to trust each other with their children. Women would not be abused and children would not starve. Women would be given the highest education possible because it is an obligation and requirement. Nobody would smoke. The rate of liver failure would come down greatly because nobody would be drinking alcohol. Kidney problems would be almost nonexistent because nobody would be eating pork.

Look at the horn of Africa. They lost the war to the Islamic terrioiorists. Who then divided up the country to war lords and continued fighting with each other. They won! They owned the place! The took the African people and chopped off arms and legs and heads and used the children as sex slaves.
Mothers crying for there babies had legs chopped off. Raped the women and any who refused got chopped up.
The worst carnage the world has ever seen. Durfer read what they did. No to lose to them is not an option.
That only gives them more power to destroy and torture and kill.
Is there an Islamic country that has peace and is free of murder and terriorist activity? Afraid not.

That is a really rude and racist question to ask. Not all terrorists are Muslim. What about China? and Cuba? China is largely Buddhist, and both countries are communist. And what happens to the people in China is very much terrorism. Do not make assumptions about one religion because 10% of them give the rest a bad name.

No, it wouldn't.
There are 14 Arab countries in the Middle East. Right now their primary "enemies" are Israel and the US. If we were to suddenly disappear tomorrow, those 14 countries would start warring with each other, using the exact same practices...terrorism included,
and they're ALL Islamic-practicing countries.

If you think it's bad now, just wait. If that happens terrorism will run rampant. They'll see it as a license to kill and will do so with every opportunity. You have to remember that these people are savages and do not want peace, even if things do come to the point where they run the world.

Islam isn't the problem stupid. Religious Extremists are the violent ones. THey don't care what religion we are. They only know hatred and revenge for supposed wrongs. Plus, I'm not wearing a veil OR giving up my jeans.

No because not all terroists are Muslims. All of the people robbing, stealing, molesting, raping women, KKKing all over America are majority Christian. Does that make all Christians terroist...no it does not. The only difference between Christian terroist and Muslim terroists is that Muslim terroist are more publicized. Both falsely claim to be doing their terroism in the name of Chrisitianity and Islam. Because you see Muslim terroist in Iraq you think all Muslims are terroist... really the muslims in Iraq only make up 2% of the billions of Muslims worldwide.
