Yes. I forgave him and we are still happily married. If you love each other and both want it to work, then it can.

It depends on the situation and what that person did. If they lie about it of course dump 'the cheater' and move on. But if you trust that 'cheater' that whatever 'the cheater' did didn't mean a thing to them then of course forgive them.

I've never been cheated on. But my bf did then I'd break up with him. I believe once a cheater always a cheater. There will always be trust issues if i stay with him and it just wouldn't be worth him even if I was in love with him. I figure it like this If he takes enough time to cheat on me then he obviously doesn't love me.

I was cheated when i was in my teens....but i was so young i cheated right back ..and thought that was a pay back...now in my older years i don't know...if they did cheat i never found out..but i could just imagine how terrible it must be to be with a cheater you will never trust that person..and every time that person leaves .you cannot help to think if she/he is with the next one...that is not a happy and healthy relationship....move on..

Yes, I dumped him and moved on but it wasn't a very serious relationship in the first place. If it had been and I really wanted to be with him, I would have tried to work through it...

YES. My boyfriend of four months or so told me that he wasn't ready to have sex yet. "no baby, I'm just not ready, just wait a little longer, okay?." Okay, that was fine, I can respect that. (i should have known i was being played)...And about three days later I go over to his house to surprise him and find him in his bed with my BEST FRIEND. Thats double crossing there. Betrayed by the two people I cared about most. I dumped them both..lost a best friend, lost my loser boyfriend. But in the end they lost each other two. They were both too horrified by what I said to them to hook up. Best revenge ever.

Yes, he used the working late excuse, it seemed that everyone knew but me. His boss would tell me he can't come to the phone right now when he really wasn't there. I never forgave him and I dumped him in a hot second.

i was cheated on a long time ago, forgived him and then later we moved on. found out he was only in it for one thing which hurt since i thought i was in love.
