There's this war, it seems, going on between Chritians and Atheists. I've noticed that as a Christian, people judge ME when I answer a question... I don't answer saying "you're going to hell" or giving them a whole bunch of bible scriptures, I just tell them my opinion on things and they jump at me calling me names or being immature about it.

But I've seen some of the same jugmental behavior from some "Christians", who may not curse and call names, but become hypocrites because they tell other people to do things that they know they probably do everyday. Of course I don't judge them either, because they are human and they do make mistakes like other people, but why can't this stop? Why all the "questions" that say "christians are stupid"? Obviously just to make other people mad... Just ask things you really want to know, and stop trying to offend people, it's really childish...
What do you think?

Tykreist, that's what I mean... I'm getting the wrong idea about atheists, and I don't want to be the type of person that holds anything against anybody... but people like you write stuff like that, and I think they are all childish, and try to use curse words to intimidate people that can't be intimidated because they are intimidated themselves..

Mr. Mister, you are prejudiced and you probably don't know it... that's terrible, and it makes me ashamed when people call themselves believers of God and do all types of name calling...

devilsadvocate.. very childish indeed. It's not all christian work, you wouldn't believe how many atheists I see doing this, and you are afraid, so you decide to ignore that fact. How immature...

Some people just like causing trouble. People like posting 'questions' that aren't even questions at all, they're just stupid comments like 'Christians suck' or 'God sucks', these people claim they don't care about God but they can't go 5 minutes without making a comment about God which seems a little odd to me.
I think these people are just bored kids, with any luck when they grow up they'll learn that you should respect people with other beliefs.
Personally i don't care what religion anyone is, or even if they have no religion.

Good one on throwing the "What do you think?" in the end like that...I was almost about to report it for not being a question. ; )

What do I think? I dunno. Honestly we all generalize each other into the side we belong in. As if all atheists are bad and say all this crap on here against the Christians, and as if all Christians act like self-righteous hypocrites. And we know it's not true of all of us.

Although I have to be honest and say that, yeah, a lot of atheists do say stuff, mainly because the internet has become a safe outlet for people who would not say much in real life for fear of discrimination and that's just still the way the world works right now. We aren't socially "allowed" to talk about our side, and those that do are looked at by society as outcasts. Non believers and others have taken A LOT for a long time. In this day and age if the religious can't take a little back at them online, well then boo hoo on those that need to get a life.

Do other races pick on or say stuff of whites? Yeah, after all that people have put up with, of course they do. It's no different for the non religious having put up with pushy and/or discriminating religious people for CENTURIES. After all that, you all getting some remarks in return is not going to crumble your world or make you lose your faith. I think you can take it.

Atheist do not want to hear about the Salvation message in any form. I have came to this conclusion by answering questions that are asked by Christians. Most of the ones that are giving the real smart answers are teens. Yes they are childish. Being judgmental comes from their upbringing. Be patient and a little understanding. We was all there at one time or another. The adults have no excuse except to say see this is the way man acts without the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are showing you what it means to be an Atheist. Now aren't you glad that you know Jesus as your personal Savior and led by the Holy Spirit? I am with out self righteousness or better than any for I am not, I was lost but was found. This makes my life better by far to know in whom I believe.

Here is the reason why they do.
BIBLE: KJV according to sourses:
What does God call them? Preach love to them? Lets see what God says, to do with them.

You have unbeliever's, Chaff, Scoffers.

An Atheist is a "scoffer". The WORD of God, clearly tells, ATHEISTS are filhty rags they are, and to stay away from them, and avoid them. We are NOT to plant seeds. God knows it is useless and that is why he tells us, "You stand firm against them" ( Jer.17:8 14:1 Iah 44:4) You disassociate them completely. Any Believer that does not abide in God's own Word, does not know God, according to God Himself.
Atheists are "chaff" A simile of the wretchedness of the wicked. Chaff is carried away by the lightest wind, and it's removal brings about cleansing by extracting what is utterly useless. (Ruth 1:22). They will NOT stand in the judgment. They will NOT be able to withstand God's wrath when He judges.( Pslams 76:7 Exra 9:15). This is not my opinion, this is God's very own Words, in the Bible. You know, the BIble? The same Bible atheist scholars quote. There is a reason God, said this. Psalms.1.1-3 Jer. 17:8 14:1 12. 1-2 18:9-10 Prov1.10-19 (vs 5) scoffers:(atheists) those who ridicule God and definatley reject His Law. Prov 1.:22 Ruth 1:22 Jer 18:7 (pull down-destroy) 1:10 (evil-calamity) 18:11

Pslams 1:
godly wisdom here, declare the final outcome of the two "ways". The paths of "sinners" (unbelievers) and the "way of the righteous. he speaks progressively of assoociation with the ungodly and participation in they're ungodly ways.

God said it. End of Story. Jesus Himself said "Let the dead bury they're dead".

Use all the Internet and Dictionaries they want to and call themselves anything they wish. God "defined" what they are by His own Holy Word.

They can hang a dog tag* around they're neck in the pits if hell itself and separate each other by name categorically.

God's Word said it. By God's definition. They are nothing but filthy rags. There is NO opinion.

Hate? Where do you get hate? If God's TRUTH is hate too you, then, so be it. You and God, can and will discuss the means of your scriptural interpretation, consisting with a man-made defacto on a motion of plea bargin I guess. I dunno.

I really think if you want a true christian forum you won't find it here. There is no way to get people who really think on track with so much garbage that gets spouted here. That's why I seldom come here. I think it is a good thing to talk to unbelievers but to put myself in a place with people who truly spew ugliness and defile God those are not people I am to have any thing to do with. Good luck to you though.

Some people are too immature to make it in the "real" world. Lacking sufficient social skills to make it out there, they come here.

Of course, that's not trying to describe -everyone- on the net ;-)

Tell me, who is trying to pass legislation to marginalize the other?

Sorry, that's all christian work, honey.

The idea that the majority are discriminated against is too funny anyway.
Boo freakin Hoo.

Take your martyr syndrome and piss off.

I prefer a rational discourse, but that is impossible with many christians because their beliefs are not rational but based solely on faith. can you think of any other area of our lives where we praise believing in something despite the lack of empirical evidence (which is what faith is)? in every other area of our lives, such behavior is deemed unsound and unwise.

I think that if people would quit drawing attention to those who stir up others that the trouble makers would loose interest and find somewhere else to go.

as long as your faith in him remains intact to you, no matter what other people call you or judge you wouldn't affect the manner of serving the LORD. words are nothing but ego-trip, voicing out an opinion, their views, respect it.... be not unperturbed or disturb, as long as your faith remains steadfast within you, nothing in this world can shatter you to pieces.... remember, humility? use it... you know respect? utilize it... what about LOVE, Compassion, Understanding? giveth it... above all, FAITH... practice it. ciao....
