You're not ill. You intelligent. You are free thinking. you're an individual. Be proud that you don't care whether or not people like you. And besides, what the hell do they know? You are the only you on this planet. Please, don't let anyone tell you how to dress, how to act, what to say, or what to think. The fact that you are unique should motivate you to becoming something greater. It's nice to know people like you still exist in the world.

it realy depends on the extent of the belief .
if you dont care if people like you at all ,this may be a sign of depresion.
if you dont care if an idividual likes you (you have plenty of frends ,and this persons opinion doesnt change that) then its a health thing

No it's a sign that you are stable and confident in who you are. There are to many people in therapy because they are so worried about what others think. So i say more power to ya for knowing what you want in life

People who do not care if people like them are not ill, they just don't see aknowledgement as being very important in their lives.
You are probably a very confident individual. :)
But if many people do not like you, then you are better off reviewing about whether there is anything you can do better ;)
People with good people skills will tend to be well liked and build huge networks and people with huge networks tend to be more successful in life.

I don't give what anyone else thinks of me either and I'm not mentally ill.
People who talk abbout you in a bad way are just jealouse of you!

Naw. I don't care if people like me. If they don't, they don't and I probably wouldn't want to get mixed up with them anyways. However, if you don't care to the point that you're anti-social or a sociopath, then something's probably wrong.
