And just what would that prove? That God is stronger than Satan. We already know that. The Bible tells us that Satan will get what is coming to him in due time. Our time how ever is what God is concerned with. Since the beginning of time, Satan has been calling God a liar. God told Adam, if you eat of the fruit of knowledge you will die. Satan said, you will not die, you will be like God knowing the difference between good and evil. God's authority had been questioned by Satan. What happened to Adam? He died. But Satan keeps on questioning Gods authority, and he has done a job, well done. There are so many non believers of God. God wants us to love him and prove Satan out to be the liar.

God is fair and just, He made the rules and He plays by them. Satan was made to worship God through music as an angel in heaven. When he rose up with pride and jealousy, he was kicked our of heaven and down to the earth. He knows what the bible says and that his time is short, so he is really acting up. Gods word will come to pass and Satan will be thrown into the bottomless pit some day, but other things have to be fulfilled first.God doesn't thrill to the hunt as you asked. God is a God of order and He wont go against the bible.

Satan is a christian concept. I'm not christian so the way a view the situation is different then what you are probably used to.

In the world all things have an opposite. You can't be happy unless you've been sad. You can have light without darkness. You can have good without evil. Since God is all things, God can be good and can be evil. God is the creator but also the destroyer that we return to when we die. To me there is no Satan but God does have a dark side.

God most certainly is powerful; but He has a perfect timing for everything. You can rest assured, regardless of what you may hear, that Satan's doom is most certainly coming to pass; but not until God is ready to get rid of him. But you can also rest assured, that if you are a Christian, Satan has no power over you whatsoever; providing you walk in the power and authority that God gave unto you, as we read in Luke 10:18-19. And if you will read in Rev. 20:10, you will find that Satan will most certinly be thrown into the lake of fire; but not until God is ready to do so.

GOd is indeed so powerful and if u can't see this then u must be blind or something , no offense seriously . don't u remember when SAtan dared and told God that he'd seduce all the people so that they don't have any beliefs in GOd and right then God told him that he would give him the chance just to enable him to see the naked truth which is there are many people who would just refuse to umm let 's say listen to satan's order ... anyway we all have to wait till the day .. where every single thing would be shown in front of everybody , where every hidden detail would just be announced ...

Revelation shows that in the 21 st chapter the abyssing of Satan in a pit for a 1000 years then he will be let lose again.
The second time just to show him how the earth could have been peopled with righteous people who love God.
The meek inherit the earth and reside forever upon it.
Then he will kill satan and he will be gone for good.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of God plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

You spelled God with a lower class G both times. You spelled Satan with upper class S. God has a time planned to get Satan, and it won't be long. He is going to burn Satan and his followers, and that's why Satan is going about like a roaring lion, knowing his time is short. Satan is not going to be in charge of hell,as many believe. The fire will burn him up,and he will be ashes under the soles of the feet of the saved. Shame on you for using a small G when referring to God.

God needs Satan to exist at all. No night without day, no good without evil. Thats the law of the universe, not just earth. Everything comes in pairs.

Satan is not real, the term Lucifer was was used in the reference of a fallen Babylonian King, not a fallen angel. Apparently some scride took it upon him self to change the story a bit. Just for kicks I guess. I guess the jokes on all Christians.
