Well first ask your friend if she/he thinks this would be a good match to begin with. If the answer is no, then obviously you shouldn't accept it. If she/he truly believes it would work out, then go for it. Not like it costs you anything, if you don't like the person then move on. It also depends on what you are looking for at the moment. If you really want to be involved then why not go for it? You never know where it might lead.Good luck!

Go for it! You'll never know what may come of this. He maybe the "one" and if he's not, he may introduce you to someone that is the right person for you, and make a friend in the process.What kind of life would it be if you didn't take chances? It would be dull and boring! Accept it and have a great time!

Does your friend know the guy well? If your friend doesn't know him very well or doesn't trust him don't accept. If the friend is good friends with the guy accept and have a good time. But if you're questioning going out with this guy, maybe you shouldn't, all that matters is whether you're gonna be comfortable in the situation.

You should thank your friend for her effort.. Go and show some gratitude by appearing on whatever your friend have prepared. If you are having second thoughts on ging because you are unsure of what is this guy like, then ask your friend to go with you ^-^ It's just a first meeting... If you two hit off, then surely there will be another meeting... That's when you two go on your own ^-^
