Why do women always generalize? Personally, I don't forget any dates like that. Buuut, I remember allll kinds of stupid things. I just don't know why people put such an emphasis on it. Some people's memory just isn't as good. It's not like they don't love you if they don't remember. It could very well because they simply can't remember. Don't be uptight about it, or anything trivial for that matter, and life will be much better.

Not that we mean to forget the important dates like birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, etc, but the reason we tend to forget them is that we have so many demands on us during the day between family and work, that the last thing we think about is birthdays.

speaking for my self. I usally remember the month, but not the day. I have been married 26 years and now I finally remember the day Aug. 20th. But my 3 kids I can only remember the months. Thats why us guys have lovely wifes to remember for us. I doesnt mean we dont love our wifes. Its just a guy thing I guess.

men consider bdays just another day.
I personally preferr to attach meaning to better things than just another day of the year.
girls dislike men's ego, although I would argue things like bdays celebration and chivalry treatment a even larger expression of egoism. what is so special about the day you were born?

mans always forgot important romantic dates compared to us womans. its cause men are from mars and women from venus. we use different parts of our brain. their brains are polluted with works, their buddies problems, their hobbies(cars, motors, figures etc). whereas woman brains are occupied with romantic stuff like dates. i use to have this same trouble as you. only manage to figure things out after i have read a book which i think really do helps alot in relationship. if you are interested in this book, you can email me at florenceho99@yahoo.com. i be able to reply you with the author and title. cheers and good luck

They don't have a system. Use a single sheet you hang under the wall calendar or use Yahoo calendar reminders.
I use giftcertificates.com reminders.
It has very little to do with not caring.

Asked that question myself but no reason to fret about it.. My BF interchanges my birthday to our anniversary... Makes me laugh and nothing more... It's too small of a deal to fight on...
