I think your co-workers would prefer that new delicacy, called honey dipped kojak. I hear it's tender and sweet, and melts in your mouth.
Oh, and you might bring some donuts and coffee, too. Bagels aren't that great unless they're warm and topped with cream cheese. And, people would fuss over which muffin they would want, and they'd leave lots of crumbs.

I'd pick whole wheat bagels with light cream cheese, but that's me.
I've seen coworkers everywhere I've worked DEVOUR donuts, pick on muffins all morning, and sort of ignore bagels.
If you're looking to get people to your desk go with donuts! But get a variety.

Bagels, they are the most satisfying and the least guilt inducing. Just make sure to get a variety, plain, blueberry, onion and get a couple of different spreads like plain cream cheese and strawberry. Make one of the spreads the low fat kind.

Muffins! Everyone loves Muffins. Try getting an assortment like blueberry, plain, strawberry, something for everyone!
Plus they sound cool....Muffins. Rolls off the tongue.

muffins. There are lots of varieties, something for everyone. AND, it eases their guilty conscience a little more than donuts.

My personal favorite are bagels. If you get bagels, though, get a good cream cheese too:) YUMM!!
