Riba is an Arabic word. It means 'interest'. You know the interest the bank charges you if you take out a loan....thats riba.

Can you give me the context of the word?

There are two Hebrew words I am thinking of--one of them means "usury" which is the practice of making loans with high interest rates.

The other "riba" refers to the strength of a bird in flight.
