Is the Roadmap for Peace paved with good intentions but questionable theology?

The United States of America has joined with the EU, Russia, and the UN in pressuring Israel to “trade land for peace.” President Bush as well as many other well-intentioned Christian Americans have had their world view shaped by their denominational doctrines. I believe that it is critical for the future of our country and the nation of Israel to consider the evidence that challenges the notion that the book of Revelation was written before the destruction of Jerusalem in the first century.

Preterists believe that most or all of Bible prophecy has already been fulfilled in Christ and the expansion of His Kingdom. They claim that the Roman-Jewish War in the first century was the fulfillment of end-times biblical prophecy. It is their contention that the book of Revelation was written before the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70. Therefore, the Roman Emperor Nero is interpreted to be the Antichrist and Jerusalem is Babylon. Although Jewish and Old Testament expectations are of a literal earthly reign of the Messiah, based upon their belief that God has finished with corporate national Israel, they believe that the Jews have no biblical right to the land of Israel and there is no Millennial reign of Christ on earth.

Peace and Safety then sudden Destruction -

I believe that once we arrive at that point wherein they shall say “Peace and safety” (1 Thess.5:2-3 below) that then we will have the “sudden destruction” that will occur at the Sixth Seal (Re.6:12-17, Lk.17:24, Lk.21:34, Joel 1:15, Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, Isa.2:19, Isa.13:6-11 below).


1 Thess.5:2For yourselves know perfectly that the DAY (Lk.17:24, Lk.21:34, Joel 1:15, Joel 2:31, Re.6:17 below) of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night (Matt.24:42, Matt.24:44 below).

1 Thess.5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Matt.24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Matt.24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Lk.17:24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one [part] under heaven, shineth unto the other [part] under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his DAY (Re.6:17 below) .

Lk.21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and [so] that DAY come upon you unawares.

Joel 1:15Alas for the day! For the DAY of the LORD [is] at hand (Joel 2:31 below), and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come (Isa.13:6, 9 below).

Joel 2:31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, belore the great and the terrible DAY (Re.6:17 below) of the Lord come.

Acts 2:20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE that great and notable DAY (Re.6:12 below, Joel 2:31 above) of the Lord come:

Isa.2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty (Re.6:16 below), when he ariseth TO SHAKE TERRIBLY THE EARTH.

Isa.13:6Howl ye; for the DAY of the Lord is at hand (Re.16:17, Acts 2:20, Joel 2:31, Jer.30:7, Joel 1:15); it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Isa.13: 7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man’s heart shall melt (Re.6:15-16 below):

Isa.13: 8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames. (Lk.21:26).

Isa.13:9Behold, the DAY of the Lord cometh (1 Thess.5:2 above), cruel both with wrath and fierce anger (Re.6:17 below, Isa.13:6 above), to lay the land desolate (Re.6:14 below): and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it (Re.6:15-16 below).

Isa.13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine (Re.6:12 below).

Isa.13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.


Re.6:12And I beheld when he had opened the SIXTH SEAL, and, lo, there was a GREAT EARTHQUAKE; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood (Acts.2:20, Joel 2:31 above);

Re.6:13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth (Matt.24:29), even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Re.6:14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and EVERY MOUNTAIN (Ps.104:6 below) AND ISLAND WERE MOVED OUT OF THEIR PLACES (Isa.2:19).

Re.6:15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains (Isa.2:19, Isa.13:7-8 above);

Re.6:16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of HIM THAT SITTETH ON THE THRONE (Lk.21:27, Isa.2:19), and from THE WRATH OF THE LAMB (Re.6:17 below):

Re.6:17For the GREAT DAY OF HIS WRATH IS COME (Re.6:16 above, Joel 2:31, Jer.30:7); and who shall be able to stand (Lk.21:36)?

what is the question?
That could not be true. The millennial reign of Christ would have the dead rising from the grave. The blind seeing and the lame walking. The lion would lay down with the lamb and the lion would eat straw like the oxen. They would do no harm in all my holy mountain. Meaning the earth. The desert would blossom like the rose. Ugh? We are having a drought?
So far no one has come back from the grave? It is future.
Anyone think this is paradise, you seriously need a newspaper.

The US has no intention of ever allowing peace in the middle east. The entire strategy is based on creating as much chaos and dissension as possible.

This is done to keep Arabs killing other Arabs so that no Arab nationalist movement can ever challenge the US supported dictatorships in the region.

These puppet regimes are necessary to keep the oil flowing to the US and its allies, rather than to the highest bidder. It has nothing to do with religion, and everything to do with greed.
