Yes. We join the Christian world in its celebration and reverence because of the sacredness of the Christ's birth into mortality.

We also allow our children the belief in Santa Clause with all its trimmings, regardless that it was generated from a pagan-originated holiday.

Our main difference is that we know Christ was not born on December 25, but in the first week of April--probably on the sixth.

I recall the Mormon church having a Xmas potluck dinner and dance, so I assume they do.... But those in my family who are Mormon don't. If it weren't for my Catholic mom and grandfather, I wouldn't have had any gifts, or even a tree to put them under.

Uh...yes, we do. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I adore Christmas (and Easter). Any holiday relating to Christ we love. "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins." - 2 Nephi 25:26 (from the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ) The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka the Mormon Church) is centered around Christ. People will love to tell you that we're not Christian, and will even try to tell me that I don't believe in Christ and Mormons don't beleive in Christ, but we do.
