broke up for a year but she says she doesn,t know what she wants now is it dumb to hold on or should u forget?

we were together for 5 years then broke up. she was with someone else for 6 months but it was bad. when they broke up she started calling again and we hung out every day. I tried to get her back but she says she doesn,t know what she wants in one sentence but in another nothing will happen again cuz the spark isnt there. also she says im the only good guy out there but right now she has the potential for another she met but says she doesn,t want to lose me. is she scared of us again cuz it would be good or is she holding on for a fallguy. my heart was broke before and i dont want that to happen again but i cant get any straight answers from her help me please

Women are not going to like this answer, but I'm going to give it anyway...

The first time you got your heart broken, you could blame it in her. The next time, you can only blame yourself.

You need to take control of the situation or your going to end up worse that the first time you two broke up. It's not your fault that she's 'confused', so don't take it on yourself to be the fall guy for her. If you leave it up to her, she will probably string you along until she finds someone else.

If you want her back, the tell her in a nice way to piss or get off the pot. If she's still confused, then move on and let her figure out her own problems. You're not going to be able to fix this problem for her.
