Well.. grass has bacteria and pesticides that aren't good.. You could go to the pet store or your local greenhouse or nursery and buy Wheat grass seed and grow it yourself.. Looks like chives.. and if you grow it you know whats in or on it..

You can give dogs 10 pounds or less of pepto bismol 1/2 teaspoon every 4 hours
10-25 pounds 1 tsp
25 pounds and up 1 and 1/2 teaspoons...

Vet tech told us that we have a shih tzu with a sensitive tummy.. it works.. but if it gets on her fur she is pink! HA!

Good luck!

Here is an answer I found for you that was posted in USA Today...
dogs may eat grass when they have an upset stomach in order to cause vomiting. "The grass will bind with the offending material. Then the grass acts as an irritant and causes the dog to vomit, bringing up the poisonous material at the same time," says Celia Feiler, DVM, of Winston Veterinary Hospital in North Carolina.

I have always let both of my dogs eat grass. I think sometimes they just need to clean out their system or they are not feeling very well and the grass helps it come up. Also not everytime they eat grass will they throw-up sometimes they may need it for a nutrient they are missing in there normal diet.

Most dogs eat grass because they are already sick. The grass settles their stomachs. She probably ate something earlier that didn't agree with her. If she continues to vomit then have the vet check her out.....Good Luck.

No.. your doggie is NOT eating grass to get sick.. It is eating grass because it (generally because) has a stomach disorder and it eats grass to be able to vomit and get rid of that something in the stomach... No.. it is good for a doggie or kittie to eat grass when they are not feeling well.
