turn a girl down straight up to there face. im a girl and just got turned down and all he said waz "No". how can they do that, that hurts their feelings, me and the guy r friends and thats all he did

Congratulations, you've just seen the Golden Rule in action. The way that this guy, who clearly isn't interested in you, turned you down is how guys would like to be turned down. Sure it hurts, but the pain goes away. The "letting down easy" that women usually do isn't a clear answer to guys -- its more like gameplaying leading to a yes. Yes, guys need to learn to be less direct when dealing with women; what we think of as basic honesty is often a turn-off to the fairer sex. Just remember, girls, that what seems to you like consideration comes off as manipulation to men.

Yes it could have been handled better. But if he had led you on, you would only have been hurt worse later. Or, the guy could simply be a sociopathic jerk...

you cant just jump on your friends and do it some guys actually think sex is special and savin themselves for marriage or hes gay and didnt want you to tell anyone so he said no thats what gay guys do
