I would like to adapt a parrot instead of buying one cos they are more pity... So where to adapt them and have any website? How to check on their health?

I think there aren't any organisations in singapore..a good parrot should b one that has clear, bright eyes,bright n alert nt sleepy, curious, does nt have faeces sticking on it's backside, is fully feathered(no broken, missing feathers etc), has a good appetite n is moving around the cage. I think u can start with a budgerigar or lovebird, those parrots r quite small n r easy to take care of =)

There was actually a very informative sketch by monty python's flying circus on dead parrots. But I guess you are talking about live ones. Either way I highly recomend the dead parrot sketch.

MAARS Midwest Avian Adoption Rescue Service
www.maars.org
and Second Chance Bird Rescue www.secondchancebirdrescue.com
They are great places. They are the only avian rescue organizations that I know of that adopt out birds.

Its nice to know that are people who want to adopt birds, there are so many birds that can use a loving home. I adopted all my birds from my cousin as her new husband doe not like pets, and my other bird came from my other cousin who died of throat cancer.

go to a pet store....i personally have a double yellow headed amazon parrot.....and i love him!! he might cost a pretty (1000$) but to me it was definitely worth it
