Lilith is not mentioned in the Bible, although several references are thought to be about her.

The figure of Lilith comes from the Jewish Talmud and other extra-Biblical sources, and probably before that from mythology in the Ancient Near East.

Where did Cain find his wife? His mother Eve? Or an unnamed sister?

The story is obviously a parable about a tribe of people designed to bring the Messiah through them.

One of the books of the Apocrypha (books of the bible deemed too "dangerous" for the unwashed masses) names Lillith as Adam's first wife.
Apparently she found him stupid and boring an just left.
That's why the story was deemed to be too dangerous, it showed a woman standing up to her man and be independent. Very scary thought for such a mysoginistic cult...
