Do they belive that once you die you immediatly go to heaven as Paul says, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" OR when you die you just wait in a grave until judgement day? I guess its not at the same time until then?

This poses a problem to me, because when the Bible says "all will be judged" what happens if you die BEFORE the d-day.

Does this make sence, I'll gladly clarify.

Before Jesus raided Hell, the blessed dead slept in the 'Bosom of Abraham'. Now that Heaven is open for business, it is true that "Absent from the Body is Present with the Lord." Everyone gets a review upon their death, but the final Judgement is reserved for the Day of the Lord, sometime in the (near?) future.

The bible says that those that are dead are not conscious of anything. When you die, you are in the grave; you are not in hell or heaven. John 5:28,29 speaks about a resurrection that will occur at the end. When Paul talks about being absent from the body, he was referring to those who will co-rule with Jesus Christ in heaven. The Bible says that only 144,000 will go to heaven. The rest will live on earth forever in a paradise.

There are two types of ressurrections. One is a ressurrection to heaven, where only a few will go to serve with Christ as kings and priests over people on a perfect Earth in the future. (Rev 7:4)The other ressurrection is one to life on Earth (John 5:28, 29). The judging of the righteous (those who have proven their love and faith in God) and the unrighteous (those who have never had a chance to prove themselves either way) will happen after 1000 years. Satan will be in an abyss during this time, and then let out in the end to test humans one last time (Rev 20:1-3). All who are alive on the earth at this time will prove themselves forever faithful or forever unfaithful towards God. Those who are faithful will keep on living. Those who are not will die and never be brought to life again. Death itself will be eradicated (Rev 20:12-15).

JOHN 5;28 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.

(Romans 6:7) 7 For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin.

How did Jesus demonstrate what resurrection will mean for mankind in general?

John 11:11, 14-44: “[Jesus said to his disciples:] ‘Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.’ . . . When Jesus arrived, he found he [Lazarus] had already been four days in the memorial tomb. . . . Jesus said to her [Martha, a sister of Lazarus]: ‘I am the resurrection and the life.’ . . . He cried out with a loud voice: ‘Lazarus, come on out!’ The man that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: ‘Loose him and let him go.’” (If Jesus had thus called Lazarus back from a state of bliss in another life, that would have been no kindness. But Jesus’ raising Lazarus up from a lifeless state was a kindness both to him and to his sisters. Once again Lazarus became a living human.)

To me this too poses a problem. Although I am unsure as to the answer I do know that either way the day will come when.....EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TOUNGE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!! All I know is that as a christian I know that one day I will be judged just as everyone else will and if the Lord my God deems me fit I will enter the gates of HEAVEN.

I see your point, that is confusing. I'd never thought about it before. I'd just always thought it was as simple as Christians go to Heaven upon death, but are not actually judged until after the rapture when Jesus returns to earth. Then everyone is judged together, both saved and unsaved.

I believe ( my personal belief ) is that each person will experience the end of time when they die. So people you know that have already gone you will experience it at the same time as they do as well as people who die years after you.

I base my beliefs on the following:
When Christ returns " all the dead in Christ shall rise", which tell me that they are "sleeping".
Also, the rich man ( already in hell ) asked Abraham to let Lazarus dip his finger in water and touch it to his ( rich man) tongue because he is in agony. This tells men that the rich man is not sleeping , but alreadu in hell.

So.....I conclude that each person experience the end of time when they die. To us, they are "sleeping" and when we die we'll be there to experience what they have/will experience.
Confusing?.....sure is........you have to think about it
