Believe it or not there are different types of salts..., hundreds of them such as sea salt ,kosher salt ,grey salt , etc ... I use Diamond Crystal salt because it is a lot finer than regular table salt and has a lighter taste.

If ypu mean that you have put too much salt into something you are cooking, chop up a potato and cook it in the pot with the food for 10-15 minutes. It will take some of the saltiness out.

You cant. if dont like the taste of it dont use it. there are salt substitutes out there like Accent thats the best that ive found'
