Please note I am not stating that contentment means I do not continue learning. As long as I breathe I will seek to know and understand. Life is learning.

I am content with my beliefs. I don't believe that God exists but am not totally closed to the idea. I'm just waiting for some proof.

Maybe one day I'll have an experience that will make me say 'Wow, I'm a Buddist' or 'Hey Christianity is the way to go', but for now I'm satisfied with my beliefs.

Yes I am, I am a born again Christian, born into a Catholic family that truly had me confused with all their personal religious hypocrisy. I found my own way, I am saved and enjoy Jesus in my life. My children ironically attend Catholic school, however I am not a religious hyprocrite. My children know I do not believe in parts of the catholic rites, such as confession or receiving the eucharist on Sundays, but I do attend and confess my sins to my own Personal Jesus, my saviour, the one and only who knows and forgives my true sins.

May God bless you sister, and may Jesus be part of your life forever and in the ever after.

I am a Free Methodist and very content with this. At the same time, I constantly seek to have a deeper relationship with Jesus and a better understanding of who He is and what He wants from me.

I am at peace with my religious beliefs because my belief about religion is that it is made by man--therefore finite, and therefore not a part of God.

I am at peace with my spiritual beliefs. I have accepted God and am thankful to be a part of this world.

Does anyone else make a distinction between the religious and the spiritual?

After many years of research and practice of many religions I am finally a happy Buddhist/Atheist.

Good question, Debra. It's nice to see people treat the diversity of spirituality (or lack thereof) with respect.

Yes, definitely. Yesterday was a Pagan holiday called Lammas that celebrates the first harvest and reminded me to be grateful for August, a time of the year that I just *hate*. Today, I had a couple of Pagan friends over for dinner. I love that my religion has mystery and beauty, but allows me room to think and ask questions, too.

Religion per se is always subject to human error. I am too a Catholic, but are not happy with what the Church has done in the name of Religion. However, I am thankful that God has blessed me in so many ways. Sometimes I think I don't deserve it. its refreshing to see someone as spiritual as you. Peace be with you too.

100% content with my beliefs.

(I don't have a lack of belief, because I positively believe that there is no god, and that we humans must act morally because it is the best means of living in a civil society. You theists really must try to stop thinking of atheists as lacking something!)

i'm happy that I broke loose from the bondage of religion because of fact it is prepared questioning and a non-end repitition from the previous. I certainly have already studied different faiths which contain Zen Buddhism, I-Ching, the bible, and so on. i in my view have no choose to apply a label for what i think. i think we are each and each unique persons in God, despite God may well be conceived to be by using the guy. I certainly have understand for what Jesus taught and function compassion for what he persevered. I additionally discovered lots from Gandhi, Buddha and various of alternative others alongside the way. God won't manage to be contained by using religion. there's slightly bit actuality interior each and each perception equipment. None of them are thoroughly and fully 'suitable.' it is what ever touches the middle of the guy and what they'd desire to strengthen on their very own very own experience.
