Let's get it out of our system people! I know Israel's hands aren't as clean but who's isn't? Why not let Israel just go at it with whoever messes with them? Why pussyfoot around? Let's hear what you have to say? I have no problem. I'm sure you all have something to say about what's happening now! I'm telling it how I feel! Once and for all lets end it and let them go at it and settle this whole stupid crap! Yeah Israel has killed a lot of innocent victims but Hezbollah hasn't? Al Qaeda hasn't? Osama hasn't? At least Israel is part of the 21 Century and NOT living in the dark ages. Also, why haven't these Muslim countries tried to get rid of these terrorist? Why? CUZ THEY HATE JEWS MORE THAN THE TERRORIST!!

I totally agree, actually. I say we here in the united states let 'em duke it out without interfering.
That means no troops going anywhere near it. And that means we stop sending weapons and money to israel.
Who do you think bankrolls their military, after all?
Keep in mind that terrorists killing innocent people does not excuse that kind of behavior on the israeli's part. It's still wrong and inexcuseable. Perhaps even more so for them, because they're supposed to be the more civilized country in the region.
Are they really part of the 21st century if the behave the way all the other savages do?

While I hate what's happening in Israel, I feel that any country has the right to defend itself when threatened or attacked. Israel is the only democracy in an area of terrorism. They are just like the United States in the way they conduct their country. They do not impinge on anyone's territory, and have always tried diplomatic procedures prior to declaring war on other nations that put them at risk. Israeli's are fighters, trained from childhood in the art of defense.
As far as ending the wars and aggression, I doubt it will ever happen in the Middle East. For every terrorist or terrorist leader eliminated, six others will pop up. The fighting is always about wanting to horn in on other countries' rightful territories. The Muslims have no compunction against killing; in fact, it is part of their religion to kill themselves and others, believing they will be rewarded for suicide bombings. To expect them to get rid of terrorism is like telling Eskimos to get rid of snow. It's never gonna happen -- surely not in my time or yours. How sad!

War is a messy business, nothing is clear cut. Hezbollah fires rockets at troops? no they fire at towns, full of what? full of citizens...Northern Israelis seem to have more belief in getting out of harm's way than Lebanese. The katusha rockets are not killing a lot of people. Why would Lebanese stay in buildings when the city is being bombed?? Especially when Israel sends them pamphlets telling them they are bombing. Are they taught not to believe Israel, ironic no?

This is a conflict that has been going on since the beginning of time and won't be solved in our lifetimes (sad). With so much water under the bridge it's not a question of right and wrong anymore. In my opinion they will have to beat each other so much (again) they are sick of the killing and THEN they might begin to start afresh as fellow human beings occupying the same chunk of dirt.

Israel should kick butt on anyone who even thinks about nudging their borders, sharing their inside acreage, or um........I don't know......kidnapping two soldiers under a barbed wire fence with NO provocation whatsoever like they did this last time? That's right. They need to get it out and done with once and for all. If someone attacks your wife, are you going to stand by and just watch or do something? They need to get rid of all the muslims and the clerics that are urging all the killing to go on. Get rid of them and you get rid of the war.
