Well I'm a Catholic and sometimes I do believe this is true. I also think even people who aren't in the Christianity, I think they sometimes feel the present too about there God.

Its hard sometimes to believe because of our problems can't always be solve, or
when we need something the most, but I do think we should also "Thank" the God(s) who can sometimes can grant our wishes. To my point of view of my religion, God also needs our help, because he or she is also like "Us" even thou he/she has the power, he/she want to see how devoted we are and if we can be "good" he/she will also help us, but it can't bee soon or later in life. We have to be Paitent until it comes. ( note to all: this is just my point of view)

I also think even if you sin, no matter how bad it is, God(s) are also there to forgive you and to listen to you. To me, I have done alot of bad things in the past, but I at least take responsibility for my actions now and I'm willing to change.... if you do something bad or now, he/she knows every moment of your mind, body and life............and to my point of view its never to late to ask for forgiveness

If you're asking if God shows his "presence" (not present -- God doesn't give presents, at least not the concrete type, wrapped in pretty paper and ribbons) not in ways that we can actually see. However, he does make his presence felt in the abstract. Some folks say in their hearts or in their conscience. The little "voice" that sometimes tells you that something is wrong, or the strong urge to do something nice for someone. There are lots of different names for this feeling. Some people attribute it to the occult or the supernatural, but I believe God "speaks" to us through our conscience. His spirit is always within us, showing the paths of righteousness, comforting us when we're distressed. Other ways God shows his presence is through the wonders of nature; the snowflakes, the flowers, a breath of spring, autumn leaves, starlight, a baby's cry. These are the gifts of God, so you really could say that God gives presents through his "presence".

God answers all prayers... sometimes the answer is "no." Right now, I'm praying for a woman to have an epiphany about her "hardening of the heart" so that she might become once more able to be empathetic to others, but this will also depend on her openness to the "spirit of God" to act in her life... so you see, you can wish for something, but that doesn't mean God can interfere with free will or the freedom to choose. I guess nothing ventured, nothing gained, but there are times when it is best to conclude a prayer with "Thy Will, be done!"

I believe that God is active in our lives through The Holy Spirit. I don't see him as some genie who grants our wishes, or a Santa Clause that rewards us for being good.

I believe that He hears our prayers and responds, however the answer is not always what we think we want or need. God knows what is best for us, and what is best to accomplish what He wants accomplished in and through our lives.

We live in a world of NOW NOW NOW, we want to be able to pray to God and get the answer as quickly as we can warm up a bowl of soup in the microwave, but God operates in his own time, not on our schedules.

I could ramble on more I suppose but to sum up, Yes God is involved in our lives, He is present around us and within us and I think, desires our devotion and our will submitted to His.

BTW, although I am using He and Him, I would agree with you that God is neither male nor female - God is Spirit - and we often use male/female words to describe God as we see fit - but I think God is beyond those things.

Sometimes unanswered prayers are blessings in disguise. I believe in God's presence and have felt it. Not all are called to the same table or serve the same divinity.
I look at it as a path we walk to test our hearts and faith. If we walk the way God has commanded we get rewarded even if we suffer it is turned for the good, prayer is the key

I don't think God magically appears or anything, but I think God shows His presence to individuals in ways that probably don't seem special to anyone other than the said person. Whether it's the presence of God or a coincidence, it is comforting to believe in something.

There is truely only one God and you are right that God does show Himself even to the unbelieving world. A testimony to HIS great LOVE,Grace, and Mercy.read Romans 5:8-10.We our selves we're saved when we we're enemies or maybe unbelieving. Think of Saul for instance. I really believe as another writer wrote earlier true seek,by opening the door by having Faith ,The Lord will reveal Himself and once you've felt His presence you'll forever be changed! Please I really encourage you !to seek His presence! read Luke 11:10-11 God on the other hand ,isn't in need of us at all,but desires of us ,to worshipHim,to Honor and Glorify Him.And to spend time in fellowship with HIM which is what we're doing when we sing to Him ,Love thy neighbor, or help someone in need.(this not being salvation by works, but rather our gratitude to our Savior.LOVE)or spend time quietly in prayer,or in scripture with HIM.Also,we have to be careful not to think we can get to heaven by our devotion, but our devotion will truely come as it will in any LOVE relation, when we receive Jesus into our Hearts, and realize HIS beauty, inparted into us inspite of our awful sinfilled nature. Peace, and may God bless you all

Joyce Meyer's exceptionally cool. i've got not got a topic with God or Christianity, yet maximum Christian church homes have a team of rubbish blended up in them that i do no longer consider. She's an evangelist and isn't any longer linked to any particular church or denomination, so she isn't caught up in politics and classic junk like a number of church homes. So she's no longer as, nicely, "religious" as many church leaders. in case you like her and you sense she's suitable, then keep staring at--that's greater helpful to doubt God than to declare outright that there is no God and no count what evidence you come across, you will no longer have self belief in something religious. it particularly is only being pig-headed. Take the solid you come across in her instruct or the rest you spot or examine and are available to a variety to enable the undesirable circulate or greater helpful yet, react against it. faith isn't only a pair of deity--it may additionally supply you considerable training approximately being a greater helpful individual and being happier and greater safeguard on your life. So i assume i'm asserting, discover something that resonates with you and get into it--discover out greater and notice the form you sense.

Yes, God shows His Presence often! It may not always be in answer to our prayers, or giving us something we have prayed for, but if we stay in His Word, and in prayer and fellowship with others, He shows Himself many times each day through His blessed Holy Spirit. We must remember to wait upon Him at all times. Blessings to you!

By the way, God calls Himself our "Father." That means He, not she.

Well if what you mean by God being the physical laws that govern the universe then clearly yes he is here everyday. But I find it emotionally unsatisfying to pray to the law of gravity.

Nice sentiment, but how does the explain tragedies that happen to good people? You claim that if you are good for a long time, god will help you. I'm sure you can name people that have been "good" their whole lives and yets suffer tragedy.
