Because they meet one dumb blonde and expect the rest of the people in the world with blonde hair to be the same.
The stupid ones are the people who think blondes are dumb to begin with.

because all the blonde jokes make it seem as though all blondes are stupid and don't think for themselves. whatever happens or is said, just know that noone gets past discrimination, and you know you're smart. don't let anyone or anything get you down.live life the way you want to, not how others expect you to.

Well, it's an unfortunate steroetype of all sorts of media. I know my share of dumb people, but an awful lot of them are brunette. Actually...it seems as though all of the blonde people I know (naturally blonde or a shade of blonde) seem to be smarter. But that could be just a percentage issue...brunettes are a dime a dozen.

I don't know. It's just a dumb stereotype. I am naturally blonde and I certainly am not ditzy and stupid. Celebrities have ruined the blonde image.

Because of the dingbats that bleach their hair blonde. It's not the natural blondes that are the stupid ones!
(I'm a brunette, and would never bleach my hair!)

we are far from dumb and to be perfectly honest im a real blonde and people always steriotyped me and pointed me out for some dumb blonde joke until i went for a job and presented my resume and the guy who laughed about me had less experience then i had and had to tell me that i am over qualified for the position....and after telling me this i went on about my experience and when i was done with him i made him feel like the dumb one. right back at ya!!!
