That 'black shadow' ammunition is pretty special. It's not every bullet that disintegrates into shrapnel upon impact, thereby ensuring at the very least, slow painful death. Then there's televangelism, which is highly valued in the Islamic world. Then there's the President, always ready to speak with lucid pertinence on a wide range of issues. These are just 3 of the things America had shared with you and me!

At one time, we had a great deal to offer the world--a 'can-do' spirit, Yankee ingenuity, even a shining example of human freedom.

But we've moved on. We're now a bloated consumer society, using up more than we produce.

Hey--maybe we can offer a Cautionary Tale.

Not much as we are now. We'd have to really get going with policies and CHANGE ourselves big time. We're the baby of the world powers, and so we need to do something, not sit around like lazy, shallow self-centered teenagers. We need to start acting like baby geniuses and do something with ourselves. We've sunk into this routine of bad food, bad air, crowded cities, crap government, and sitting on a couch doing nothing letting people with their own agendas run everything. We are too ambivalent when it comes to making changes.

Thinking.....

I started to say women's rights... but we r ranked #22 on that globally.

I started to say aid to Africa but our pharmacy companies get rich off making all the vaccines and aids drugs that we send over there. Some even say they make them sick on purpose for that reason.

I started to say to show the good of Christianity. But all the world sees now is Bush's Christianity (Bushian) which is not real Christianity.

I started to say world leadership in keeping peace through diplomacy but Bush's Cowboy Diplomacy has ruined that too.

I started to say that we are the world's police against tyrants but now we are the the world's tyrant.

Doesn't leave many options, ya know.

Yes they do. A lot to offer the world and if the world doesn't want it why don't they just let us be. Quit acting like we are the worlds bank, protector and aid center.
