i also live in cincinnati- i was lucky enough to get section 8, but was on the wat list almost 3 years. try the community action agency, united way, etc. they may not pay the whole month i don't know. also u can call hamilton county 946-1000 and schedule an appt for PRC. they will give u $ one time (sorry typos etc, holding 11 week old fussy butt). if u have a notice from landlord it helps get the money
pitbull shut up- life is hard when u have kids and keep getting fired from temp jobs because kids get sick
