Browneyes!?
I have a cramp in my side from laughing. Holy hell! Someone's been watching a little too much Brokeback Mountain...

It's probably the way you say it. Think Cary Grant, and swagger a little when you say, 'How's my Cupcake tonight?'
You might also try, Honey muffin, Sweet buns, or Sugar Lips.
If you do it right, you can make her go weak in the knee. Of course, another reason to stick to endearments is that it reduces the chance of calling your wife by your girlfriend's name, if you just call them both Cupcake.

Hmmmmm. That is certainly food for thought. Sounds like the question is really eating at you. Maybe all those terms of endearments are causing her to gain weight. Lettuce hope not.

Can't remember her name, can you?
My ex husband called me "cupcake", or when he was teasing me, he'd call me "honey humph" (?). I knew he when he was mad because he'd actually call me by my first name. My boyfriend never uses nicknames or terms of endearment and when we first me I would get defensive when he'd call me by my first name because of the training I got while married!
Seriously, I'd love a unique nickname. That's what you gotta find...something no one else has ever used with her. Or at the very least, ask her again what her name is and use that!

Only your girlfriend can provide the correct answer, the rest of us can only guess. You seem to be hungry, but maybe she's on a diet. Try switching themes, like to animals or flowers or adjectives. My gf calls me "tampan" which is Indonesian for handsome. I like that so much better than darling.
For instance, could call her "cantik", pronounced chanteek, which means beautiful. You could tell her it is Balinese, which wouldn't be incorrect, just imprecise.

Personally, I wouldn't mind being called "Cupcake".....I would think it was VERY sweet.....but I don't care for "Muffin" or "Dumpling". I REALLY like when my Sweety calls me "Sugarpop" or "Babydoll".

Are they the same shape? Maybe she resents the implications.
