Mine has his tail up almost always.

2.-My cat is pursuing his tail.. is this normal? ._.

On another note I got him Soft Paws and he's"scratching" my beanbag chair. It's so cuuute..

And before you're saying im cruel, Im telling you he is an indoor cat, because he's a kitten. I dont wanna leave him out.

Kittens generally travel with their tails up. Basically, it lets any other cat know that they are being friendly - and it's a major sign of their youth! Curious cats will normally carry their tails up too, it looks a little like a question mark when they're wondering about something.

Chasing his tail is absolutely normal. He's having fun!

And with the scratching... if you don't mind him doing that and plan on permanently buying "Soft Paws", no worries. If you want to train him not to scratch there, get a squirt gun and a scratching post.

Take him to the post... make it the most fun he's ever had with you. When he goes to the chair - squirt.

Enjoy your kitty!

I would think he just wants to be petted if his tail is up around you! I think nothing else of it! It is young and likes playing with its tail! You can play with him useing cat toys and let him chase something else if it bothers you. I think it sounds normal to me!

My answer to both yer questions, therefore, is, duh...wot waz da question...oh yeah...
Part 1 - yer cat hates you
Part 2 - its purrrrrrfectly normal & will die from chasing its tail!
