i cheated on my boyfriend. now he's my ex boyfriend. i'm still very much in love with him but i want him to give me another chance, but he keeps telling me that i have to prove to him that i want him back. i want to be with him for the rest of my life but i don't know how to prove to him that i want him back. can you help me out???????????????????????

How to prove... hm.... When time pass and you don't date or meet other guys, that should prove to him that you are serious. But for how long should this go on?
I think that if he let's the door open for you like this - then you should be able to have a conversation about it, so that you know what to relate to. He must say; "yes, if you actually prove your love for me by not dating or caring for other guys for one year, then I'll take you back." Or he must say; "no, I won't be able to trust you - ever".
If you wait and wait for him without knowing whether he cares for you seriously or not, then all of a sudden he has moved on with a new girlfriend, and you stand there (kind of cheated on...)... He cannot put you on hold like this unless he speaks clearly and tell you what he wants. Fair play.
OK, what you did was stupid considering how much you love this guy, but you have appologised, explained and probably cried too. If your relationship is meant to be and you love each other, you should be able to talk this through. Personally I think that you should get back together as soon as possible (if he wants to) and you will prove your love - and he must work on his trust in you - while in relationship. It is kind of impossible to prove love from the outside.

Your boyfriend no longer trusts you because you cheated on him. He is hurt. You have to do whatever you can to gain his trust back and prove yourself worthy to him. He won't believe it until he sees it. If all goes well- eventually- he will take you back. Give him some time to heal his wounds and do whatever you can to gain his trust back and that you want him back in your life. I wish you the best of luck.

keep trying, he is only urs. he loves you too thatswhy he is giving you chance to prove...
dont do any silly things, just remain what u are, im sure he'll comebk to you..
