During the first three months one of two things will happen, either you'll work out a schedule with your family that will allow you to get just enough sleep to function, or you'll have a psychotic episode and end up committed. First three months are tough because they almost never are on the same feeding and sleeping cycle. It takes about 45 minutes to feed one, another half hour to burp, change and hold, and by then the other is up and hungry. After three months they go longer between meals and sleep longer, but those first three are tough. Get as much help as you can, call in favors if you have to because it is a lot of work. And yes, it is well worth it. My twins are almost four and even though I lost a ton of sleep, I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Insanity!
Seriously, it is not that bad. My sons are 18 months and, although it was difficult at times, it was not as bad as I thought it would be. Make sure you are organized!! We kept track of who was changed and fed and the times. This helped us remember who we fed and also so we knew if each of them were getting enough food.
My boys were not big cries, so that helped a lot, too. They slept well and ate well, too. Just take it one day at a time and you will be fine!

twice the love...try keeping their feedings on similar schedules. If one needs to eat at night...wake the other up and feed her too...trust me u need the extra sleep. Twins tend to develope speach paterns later in life. don't worry they'll catch up by Kindergarten
