If you really love him then it is never too long to wait. It also depends on what he is doing that is wrong. If he is cheating, dump the bum, because he doesn't respect you or your relationship. If he is hitting you, dump him please, because a man should never hit a woman. If he is not working, then be patient and help him to find a job. If he is verbally abusive, then leave him, loving someone shouldn't hurt that much. If it is none of the above then support him because I am sure you don't always act right either.

This really depends on how he is acting "wrong." If it's things like cleaning up after himself or furthering his career (or even stickier things like being more romantic, etc.)--these are things that a man can (and will, in my experience) improve upon as he matures, given the right support. If this is the sort of thing you're talking about, I would suggest looking for signs of continual improvement and a sincere effort on his part.

If you're talking about him treating you well, being faithful, honest, etc...these are character traits that are very, very hard to change. I wouldn't count on it, unless something very major has occured in his life (birth of a baby, giving up an addiction, etc -- these things can *occasionally* spur a major change.)

Depends on how he's acting wrong. Generally if you have to ask the question, it's already been too long.

If he isn't acting right from the beginning, find someone who does. You might think you "love" him, but if you really did love him, you wouldn't try to change him.

If you have a problem with the way he acts you should find someone else.

Men usually don't change. Why would you want to change him? Love him the way he is or leave him.

Love has no time limit. If you love someone show them and you will get love in return.
