Lac Lousie isn't anywhere near vancouver, ignore that post!
Go to the royal canadian museum, tea at the empress hotel, whale watching (you can catch a boat in the inner harbout) butchard gardens, drive up to tofino and check out the surfing, along the way stop at the shop that has goats living on the roof and the many hot springs on the island. Whistler is a must, lots of out doors stuff to do. You can fly there via float plane, it's reasonable and the scenery is amazing! check harbour air (it isn't listed on their website but I know that they do this flight as I spoke to the pilots last week!), sea to sky air. or you can take the ferry www.bcferries.com
