St. Matthew 6:24 says
24) No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
So what must we do to serve God. Give examples.

Yes, I agree we cannot serve to masters, and the Bible also says to not be double minded. (Sorry I forgot the verse). I think we are to serve God by being obedient to His word, pray, and witness to others who may not know Him as they should.

Some say that the best way to serve God is lightly braised medallions of Deity in a citrus cream sauce with a hint of fresh rosemary. But, as with all theological questions, there is disagreement. Many churches serve him baked into a cracker and fermented into a red wine. You really should study and decide personally how best to serve the Lord.

To serve God, you need to get an accurate knowledge of God and strive to live like He wants us to. That can be found in the Bible in the Old Testament- The Ten Commandments. Or you can go to Mathew and reads about Jesus's sermon on the Mount. He gives us the guidelines there as well.

Let's use god as a non religion specific being. We should not serve the god but we can certainly honour the gods achievements and creations by giving a blessing and having a celebration.
Why belittle ourselves by serving something whose existence we cannot prove.
We should not be slaves to our faith. But let our faith compliment our life.

Serve the Lord by loving Him with all your heart, mind, and strength. Obey His word. And get to know Him. If He isn't real to you, you need to seek Him till He becomes real. You can't serve a God you don't understand....not the way He would like you to.

We are to worship him in Spirit and in Truth. We are serve him by serving those who are in need. We serve God by not given into temptations of the lust of the flesh.

I suggest a kick serve. God's pretty good at returning the power flat serves and always picks up on my slice. I'd go with kick.
Oh, and he guards his backhand too much, so attack the forehand on the serve.
