Well, first off, for the posters that mentioned the SR-71: It's not a fighter.
That said, it would take about the same length of time as a commercial airliner since fighters are not allowed to fly supersonic over land.
Actually, no fighter can fly coast-to-coast without refueling, so it would take a bit longer even if the refueling was done in flight. If they had to land for fuel, it would take about 2 - 3 hours longer than a commercial flight.

When the SR-71 was retired in 1990, one was flown from Palmdale, CA to Dulles, Virginia, setting a coast-to-coast speed record at an average 2,124 mph (3,418 km/h). The entire trip took 64 minutes. BUT, the SR-71 is technically a reconnaissance aircraft, not a fighter. John Glenn set the record in 1957 with a F8U Corsair, in 3 hrs. 23 min. for an average speed of 726 mph or about Mach 1.1, from Los Angeles to New York City.

An SR-71 can do it in less than 2 hours. No fighter jet can do it at all, at least without refueling. All of the fighters have only between a 300-500 mile range, with the afterburners lit, and none of them have a 3,000 mile range, even at 400 knots.

Depends on the speed and the distance, time is distance divided by speed.
