you havent quite made it clear what pills you have been taking. its important to note that all painkillers do not use the same active ingredients and thus do not treat the same types of pain.

when i used to get migraine headaches, i often tried tylenol or aspirin with very little effects. however, i continued trying different brands with different active ingredients and found that excedrin migraine, using a combination of caffeine, aspirin and acetominophen quickly put an end to my 8 hour headache bouts.

be sure you dont overdose on painkillers though, they do tend to be rather harsh on the stomach as well as the liver. also, drink lots of water, sometimes headaches can be caused by dehydration.

Try taking a warm shower or massage the area. It would help also to know where the headache is. If it is in a sinus area, you may want to take a differnt medicine. I read somewhere that headaches are often caused by swollen blood vessels so try taking Ibuprofen, if you haven't already had tylenol. Don't take both! If the headache is acompanied by uncontrolable vomiting, dierea, or is the result of a pre-existing condition such as allergies, high blood pressure, diabetes or a tumor, follow your physician's orders. If you are vomiting for more than 2 hours and cannot keep liquid down, or have symptoms of dehydration, head for the ER. If you can't get rid of your headache on your own, you might be able to get to the ER and they will see if it isn't something other than just a headache. If it is a severe migrane, they may give you a stronger pain killer.

Yikes, it sounds like you have a migraine. Tylenol isn't going to cut it... you could try Excedrin Migraine, it's an over-the-counter choice, or you might have to head to the ER for a prescription. If that's not a route you want to take, try sitting in a hot bath, then placing an ice pack on the back of your neck. If you're tough, you can put it on the front of your neck. It's weird, I know, but it works. A heating pad and a dark, quiet room may help too. Good luck!

When I have bad headaches I take bc powder and get in a hot tub of water and lay back with my head in the water and relaxed then I go to bed and lay down for an hour and bam it's gone.

But sometimes I have to go to the ER.

You have to cross directly to a healthcare professional, melancholy is typical and extra extreme (and extra lethal) in sufferers with social phobia. If you do not feel your mum and dad will take you to a healthcare professional, then false a suicide strive. Empty a few bottles of drugs at the flooring and lie beside them. Also, tip a pitcher of water subsequent to them. Pretend to be useless or subconscious, they are going to take you to the ER and you'll be able to inform them the whole lot you're pronouncing for your submit. Then you'll be able to get the healthcare professional to provide an explanation for for your mum and dad that you're now not a basket case, and he'll deliver right cure which will have to get you higher in a question of weeks. A tip for you: inform your psychiatrist you desire topiramate (Topamax) further for your antidepressant, in an effort to spice up the outcome at the social phobia and likewise support you drop some weight. And a different tip: steer clear of faith till you're higher.

Caffiene helps headaches believe it or not. Also the best thing that i've found for a headache like that is to poor rubing alchohol on a washcloth and place it on your forhead, this is also great for sore muscles. Hope you feel better soon!

If you have a husband, boyfriend, or someone else who is there, ask them to massage both of your feet, especially in the little and second toe area. I believe that is the pressure point for the headache. I do it for my wife when she gets bad headaches, and she says it does wonders to releive both the pain and pressure.
