Fana, hair goes through cycles. One of which is the shedding process, so this may be normal. Try a different shampoo and see what happens. Have you had any major change in routine? Maybe you are developing an allergy to something. Stress can sometimes cause a loss of hair. I know you don't want to hear this, but if it continues, you need to see a doctor. They may have treatments that can stop and reverse it. Your hair loss my correct its self, but it also may not. So unless you want to take the chance and become a bald chic (not by your own choice), you need to have a medical professional take a look at what is going on and get treatment.

I freaked out for almost a whole year when I turned 30 because I was counting my hairs everyday too. I went to a skin specialist to find out what the hell I should do and he made me count my hair and put them in an envelope for a week. 7 separate envelopes. I did and I was losing between 100 to 200 a day. I could stop worrying. Finally he told me this was normal, but yet my hair is noticeably thinner then a year ago and every year it gets thinner. You can see my scalp if I don't style it correctly. I just came to the realization if I lose it all, that there are some gorgeous wigs out there. If they don't love me for who I am then screw em!

Go to a hair dresser. They can tell you if you have alopecia. I'm not sure what the remedy is for that, but the hairdresser may be able to give you some tips. Good luck. I've been there, but I never treated, it just went away.

There is nothing you can do.. I've heard of some people having cortisone injections in the scalp. But most likely you just have to live with it.

I have thyroid problems and I lose lots of hair. might look it up to see if you have any of the other symptoms, it is a fairly common disorder, the thyroid effects everything in your body.
