Holland & Holland is the only maker I think. A rifle runs about $80,000. Loaded ammo is hard to find, but it seems to run about $100+ a round. If you reload, the bullet and brass alone is about $45 a round.

The recoil is about 230 ft-lbs, over 10 times a hard kicking 30-06 round.

The Barrett 50 BMG is going to weigh around 30lbs...If you want the worlds most powerful hunting rifle still in production and practical to carry, that would be the, 460 Weatherby Magnum..

Barrett light 50. Bolt action with a 5 round magazine. Just keep in mind that the ammo for this beastie is vurrah vurrah 'spensive! I mean some serious bucks.

If you have $8500 to spend on a rifle and $5 a round for ammo the Barrett Civilian version of the m82 is your gun.

the 50 bmg but if u dont want to pay more than $2000 the 300 ultra win mag. i was standing 25 yrds away when my friend shot one and i could feel the shock wave

depends on what government license you currently have. there are people who own tanks and quad 50's. if you can shell out the money you can even own your mig for sake.
