I've been told that Cup-o-noodles has way too much sodium. I never drink the broth. I only eat the noodles with a fork. I know that I am still ingesting sodium eating it this way but do you think that it is a lot?

This is better than the broth. The powder which dissolves in the water is where most all the sodium is found, not the noodls themselves.

First of all, there is absolutely no problem with eating the noodles and drinking the broth as long as you don't have a condition that prevents you from having a large sodium intake. If you do, you shouldn't be eating them at all. You would be better off counting calories (not carbs, thats stupid too) instead of watching your sodium intake. Sodium is harmless unless you have an above mentioned condition. Anyhow, sodium is present in food in the form of sodium chloride (NaCl), or table salt. The soup/noodles would not have anymore salt than a teaspoon. You are fine eating the noodles AND drinking the broth.

Most of the sodium content is in the broth, or stock. The noodles will contain very little, if any.

It may not be as much sodium as if you were eating the broth...so that is a good thing. But they are not very healthy for you to eat more than maybe once a week.
