I was just reading about the beautiful beach resorts they have in Cuba, but they all said fly out of Canada...
What's the deal?

'Americans are traveling to Cuba in dramatically fewer numbers, at the same time U.S. fines against those who come without permission are on the rise, Cuba said Tuesday in the launching of its annual international campaign against the decades-old U.S. embargo.'

You can't fly out of the US because of the trade embargo that has been in place since the 1960's between US and Cuba. You can fly from Jamaica as well as Canada.

The US has boycotted this country. That's why Cuban cigars are illegal. We have been at high tensions with country for a long time. This is due to there leader and there communist goverment. The only way you can fly there from the US is if you proove you have family there. You will have to fly from a foreign country to get there. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Flying to neighbouring islands will probably be cheaper than flying to Canada. Tha'ts my guess anyways.

You have to fly through Mexico (Mexico City or Cancun) or Canada (Montreal or Toronto). Not let's see...would I rather vacation in Cancun or Havana....hmmmmm....
