How come it's hard to run in dreams without falling or moving really slowly?

It's proven that dreams such as these signify something looming in your mind that you feel guilty about not telling someone. You try to ignore it, but your guilt is holding you back. Makes sense huh?

I hate it when I dream and I can't move. Or what about trying to talk and you can't! I wake up creeped out.
I often wonder what exactly makes us dream or think for that matter. It is amazing.
