Not really. My doc was joking with my husband when he was stitching me up down there the after the first birth, if my hubby wanted a couple of extra stitches to tighten things up. They had a good laugh over that. My hubby has no complaints and I've given birth 3 times and 2 of the babies were over 10 lbs. No, it's no different.

the short answer is not always but, usually the velvet tardis goes back into shape after time and TLC.
If u a soon mum 2 b try not 2 worry 2 much and take good care of yourself before and after birth.
My midwife had 2 take a couple of stitches after a month as I think junior Dr was a bit over zealous sewin me up!!
If u the father 2 b please b supportive and understandin lots of TLC and gentle lovin works wonders for her ego before n after birth If mum2b is not wantin sex there r lots of other ways 2 show u love her. Nice bubble baths massages and cups of t on demand thank u!
If sex ain't the same at first when she has the energy don't panic u know what they say bout practise?!!

The answer is - immediately - no, they are different.
(In fact, in many unchangeable ways, a woman is different for the rest of their lives having given birth.)
However, [down there] things can quickly return to 'near ' or 'as near to normal'.
This is down to the woman in question and whether she follows all the possible exercises that can minimise or completely reverse the affects of child birth - 'down there!'

Yes and No. After having a baby, sex is usually better for the woman. If she does pelvic exercises, she won't have any complaints from her man. The human body is simply amazing!
And, I did have that "extra stitch" that someone was talking about. YIKES! It was almost like the first time. Just a little toooooo tight.

The Doctor sews up anything that has to be cut or ripped during birth. Also you have to wait sometime after giving birth before you can have sex so you end up being tight. So everything is fine...

Of course. Maybe not right at first but it heals back to normal size. My husband was worried about the same thing after we had our daughter. But to tell you the truth we have had two kids now and honestly the sex is better now then it was before!!

Nope, they morph in to monsters. Course they are the bloody same. Ever heard of pelvic floor exercises? You probs dont tend to do them till you have kids. Then you do. Its like comparing muscles of a 14 year old boy to that of a 28 year old builder!!

If you're worried about loss of muscle tone; do "pelvic floor" exercises....when you go to 'p' use your muscles to stop the flow! You are now using your 'pelvic floor' muscles.
According to Ruby Wax, she did so many 'pelvic floor' exercises she can hoover the carpet! hehehehehe
Seriously though; if you do your pelvic floors NOW - you'll be the same as women who haven't given birth - and you won't need incontinence pads by the time you're thirty!
'Suck it up'......if you get my drift......... ;o)

Exactly the same. Like an elastic band that's pulled out of shape - it pings back in to shape. It's part and parcel of the magic of the female body.

some women might loose their sex drive (hence my ex-wife) but that's not always the case. their vagina expands to give birth, but after post-pardum, it shrinks back to its normal size. If she tears and requires stiching, don't hesitate to ask the wet nurse to through an extra stich in there for a little tighter feel.
