Yes, but only to the extent that the relationship will never become serious. You can't really judge by covers and people are people, separated by perhaps decision and circumstance.

What would bother most people in my opinion is this. As an escort or stripper, you're dealing with people who are trying to win your attention and affection. If you are in an exclusive relationship, you should feel relaxed and confident that the other person is not going anywhere. People give into temptation and there exists that possibility, that you could decide that the grass is indeed greener on the other side and leave. It handicaps the relationship and keeps it from growing.

Also, most mature individuals will naturally shy away from a relationship with an escort or stripper because of value issues. If there existed a chance that you could be disfigured or scarred, how marketable would you be in either trade, and what of those individuals that refused to accept the inner beauty (love, lasting) an instead embraced only outer beauty (lust, temporary). Most mature, stable individuals will seek the relationship that will last based on love. To work as either profession demonstrates the same perceived waste of time one would associate with playing PlayStation all day or being a couch potato. People want interaction, therefore the perceived "shallowness" and short sightedness are not values that foster long relationships. Regardless of profession.

Unless of course you don't strive for lasting romantic relationships and have won the karma lottery by living the "Pretty Woman" life.

No. It would take too much trust that she isn't doing some prostitution on the side or getting caught up in drugs, etc. Most escorts and many strippers do have sex with their clients.

It isn't a healthy lifestyle and I don't want to be connected with it in any manner. Many college girls do it in order to afford college and some guys have no problem dating escorts and strippers.

I once dated a stripper, and while the sex was good, I could never really give her my heart. We were very good friends and she often bought me things, but I could never feel like she belonged to me. She would tell people that I was her man, but I never felt the love connection. I knew she was engaging in prostitution but she was doing it when I met her so what was it for me to say? It would be hard to convince a guy that you were not prostituting while being an escort, unless he was pretty naive.

You could be a saint, but if you are in that profession it is not always that woman you have to worry about. The guys that go to these places frequently and the ones that pay escorts, expect women to be a certain way. There will always be that looming question in a guys mind. Those that do not have a problem with it probably don't care for you the way you want to be cared for. Put yourself in the same position and a gorgeous woman paid your man to be her escort, how do you feel?

First of all, an escort is a prostitute, which some people seem to not be clear on. It's a legal semantics type thing. Second of all, why not? I think it would be kind of hot. As long as she was still in the mood when she got home.

No. If my relationship was based on sex I could deal with a stripper or escort because that is all they are good for.

There is no way you could have a truthful meaningful relationship with one. The fact that your girl gets paid to c0cktease other dudes all days means she is still selling her body no matter how you try to rationalize it in your head. Models too. PLUS you could never truly trust them. Strippers have no self esteem, and are complete attention whores driven only by quick cash. Who wants a woman with values like that?

Me, for F'n. That's who.

i've met alot of girls who are strippers and many of them have been highly intelligent women. i would not be afraid or ashamed or embarrassed to date a stripper. many are working their way through college and their is NOTHING wrong with that.
escorts, on the other hand, i'm not too sure about... because i think that they are more at risk of being subjected to violence and PROSTITUTION. ALL of the escort advertisements that i've seen give me the impression that the women ARE prostitutes. only, they have the option of choosing who they will and will not have sex with. i know it's illegal but that's the impression that they give me. so, i would probably be more worrisome about dating an escort...

It would take a lot of trust...lots !! A good female escort can make more money in a week than some guys can make in 6 months.
It is not a very safe practice, with or without the sex, lots of evil freaks out there. I think i could handle it myself but many or even most guys might not could. Of course i'm a little bit freaky anyway. lol. {just kidding}. not evil freaky, just fun freaky. lol

Most men could not deal with that. At least not in a serious relationship. I would love to date a stripper for a nice fling, but I wouldn't take her home to mom.

Most men cherish the idea that he is exclusive with his mate. That kind of profession makes it very difficult for a man to feel as if he has that. For the most part there will always be doubt and a strain in the trust.
