Dehydrator or Oven

Steps:
1. Peel onions.

2. Slice into 1/8-inch slices or chop into fine pieces.

3. Spread thinly over trays.

4. Dry at 120 degrees F for 24 to 30 hours or until brittle.

5. Stir onions every 8 hours and rotate trays.

Sun Drying

Steps:
1. Follow dehydrator steps 1 to 3.

2. Place in well-ventilated area in full sun.

3. Dry until papery and brittle - about 2 to 3 days.

4. Stir onions every 8 hours and take trays in at night

Don't really need to dry them, they can be purchased @ any supermarket. I freeze onions for later use - just peel, chop & place in freezer bags. Pull out one whenever you need some for a meal.
