By simply living you burn over 1,000 calories. I burn the rest by running, and doing different assorted exercises.

1600 calories is not high. You have burned more calories that you consumed. You need to burn 3500 extra calories than you consume in order to lose one pound. Check out this website to see how many calories you need to maintain your weight at different levels of activity... http://www.caloriecontrol.org/calcalcs.html

Yes but sounds a bit extreme to me. You'd be better off consuming the calories from healthy foods and burning off less - or burning it in a more balanced and steady way.

Depending on your age, height, weight and activity level, 1600 calories may not be high. What are you doing to burn almost a pound a day?

1600 calories is not high, especially for someone with a high level of activity. Regardless of whether you eat a high number of calories, if you burn more than that you will lose weight.

Trust me, there is no way anyone can burn that much calories in one day. You should eat breakfast, a light lunch and no dinner. Also excerise that's how I lost a couple of pounds.

Yes you would burn calories, but it depends on the type of foods you ate.

Fat for example would be harder to get rid of.

I think you'd burn more than just fat doing that, and that's unhealthy. If you starve your body too much, it will start to consume muscle tissue and even vital organs to keep itself going. It's safer and healthier to lose weight gradually than to do it as fast as possible.
