Some years ago a competition was arranged between Members of this Regiment, British Marines and U.S Rangers.
A race covering an exacting assault course! Legion Etranger did it in Approx 7hours. British Marines in around 10hours and the U.S Rangers took a day and a half!
Is there a lesson here for those Americans so full of how bloody good they are?

I'd be interested in your source. I seriously doubt any such competition would go unreported. What about special forces of other countries? I'm sure they would have wanted to be represented.
