On a hot southern night, we throw some meat on the grill. Grill some corn on the cob as well - straight from the garden. Toss a nice salad or else just slice some fresh tomatos, cucumbers and onions. Top off with some chilled watermelon or cantelope for a light dessert. Best of all, by grilling all your hot foods, you keep the kitchen cool....

First of all take a deep breath and then eat some fresh air. Once you've done this and still hungry, eat whatever your hands can reach (by the way don't follow the principle-beg, borrow or steal as far as possible - try to be self-sufficient). Eat anything except other/our brain/s.

ITALIAN BEANS PARMESAN
½ cup chopped onion
½ cup chopped green pepper
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 (16 oz.) can whole new potatoes, drained and sliced
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can cut green Italian beans, drained
¼ cup Parmesan cheese
In skillet, saute onion and pepper in butter until soft. Add potatoes; saute 2 minutes. Add tomatoes, cook over high heat until slightly thickened. Add beans, heat through. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes 6 servings.
