Maybe the caged bird enjoys the security and the free bird enjoys the freedom. The cage bird is only fed what his owner whats him to eat where as the free bird is able to choose what he wants, making his voice the way nature intended, sweeter!

I could not live my life with the self perpetuated guilt that christians do. They see themselves as lower then low. And need to be reassured they are forgiven for being such.

They call themselves sinners for what Adam & Eve did. At what point does their life connect to Adam & Eves? That would be like calling me a racist if my great great great great grandpa owned slaves. I do not see the logic in this.

I believe that an atheist is far more free. Free from the crutch of religion that keeps people narrow-minded and unexposed to the world around them. An atheist can accept blame for themselves, while a christian uses religion to crutch themselves up from said blame.

The caged bird sings sweeter that the free bird.
because it sings about the lost freedom.

It's a matter of the birds perspective. If the bird is happy and pure at heart it will sing the most beautiful song it can no matter where it is living.

I think the bird in the cage can sing as sweetly and maybe more as it has less worrys. once it hs accepted its limits it will realise it is better off

I would go the other way around. The caged bird has way more time to work on his singing. :-)

I think there are Christians that are happy and Athiests that are happy.

And there are Christians that are miserable and Athiests that are miserable.

And there are good singers and there are bad singers.

But both groups believe that they are free, and see the other as caged.
