Ok depends what you think. We all know that pit bulls have bad reputations. But if you can step up to challenge to train him, then i say go for it. But i have read if you haven't had another dog, this would not make a good first dog. If you want a good dog i advise going for a poodle ( toy) or lhasa apso.

Well, to me pitbulls arent good pets only if their trained their good to have, but my friend used to have one but they had to put it to sleep because it bit him fourteen times and he had to get stitches.

YES!! But as other people said, you should get it trained and expect people to give you weird looks and to share pit bull horror stories with you when you say that you own one.
