If she is betraying her husband of many years, then what are you to her? She would betray you in a moment.
Don't allow her near you. She can play you as soon as you do the deed.
Many possibilities:
* Tells husband to make him jealous
* Tells everyone that you took advantage of her aka big lawsuit. If you are the boss but not the owner then she could prosecuit you then take your job. She's next in line.. why not?
* If she doesn't do that then she can always manipulate you through guilt or through sex to get what she wants etc..
Simply don't do it. The trouble is not worth it. Long term pain and misery for short term pleasure.

How about training her with the door opened (less apt to do things others can see)? You REALLY must know the answer to this if you have been a boss for any time at all. You would have to know sexual harrassment is a major lawsuit waiting to happen. Where I worked...I knew of at least 3 men that were fired due to this. No, they weren't the boss, but someone higher up made the decision. If she decides to change her mind and uses this against you (especially if her husband finds out), you are to blame...she could say this is why she received the promotion. No blame on her, but on you. You are playing with fire and if you don't mind getting burned in more ways than one, go ahead! My decision would be made even easier due to my 3 children, they need to have a father that is a good role model. The money you could possibly spend in court should go towards raising them.......find a woman that gets you going, just not someone at work (especially since she's married-respect her husband-you were a husband, how would you have felt). Use the head on your shoulders, not the other.

It is never a good idea to sleep with anyone at work. I've done it but it was not a good idea, all kinds of things can happen. And I promise you this woman is trying to manipulate you. She is married and she is becoming the assistant manager, she wants your job dude, in some way, shape or form. Whether it is to get the actual position or to manipulate you from the support staff position. I don't know that I would even put her in asst. management. She's already f@#*ing around on her husband, do you think she'll make a loyal employee? I have always been suspicious of people who say they "won't kiss and tell". Bull, they'll tell plenty. No, you have 3 children, take care of business and romance in different buildings. Peace.

Look pal...you're really facing temptation, but I think you should sleep with a married woman. I mean, how would you feel if had a wife and she did it. As think about the problems that you can get yourself into if the husband finds out or the other employees. I say don't do it...I mean there's so many single beautiful women...why would you want to do it with a married woman just because she's offering herself to you. I know it tempting but be smart, don't get into serious problems. TRUST ME!!

Well, unless you want to lose your job don't slam her on the desk or even in a hotel. Don't mess with anyone that is under your supervision because they usually always come back with sexual harassment on you. If you have a good job and your look pretty okay, you should have no problem getting a date with someone outside your office. Try some on line dating sites. Good luck. Remember no office hanky panky.

Being a boss is tough enough sexual harassment is what she will probably do to you. She is getting promoted and the best way to get your job is for you to be gone. DO NOT DO IT!! Now if she was to be transfered to a different department that might be a different story.

If you are a manager you don't know how to spell. You should sleep with your co-worker so you can get fired for sexual harrassment and then you can go back to school and take an English class.

Saty strong and say no. You know its wrong. And what if your kids find out? They may be young, but little ones are better on sneaking up one you than you think. Just don't do it and tell her no. And why would you make her assistant manager?

Probably wouldn't be the best idea. Besides the 'sexual harassment' thing it would probably make the working relationship a lot more stressful.
