Put a 12 pack on a really big hook with some 200lb test line and toss that line into the local watering hole (bar....beach...where ever)...when you feel a tug on the line....yank hard...that will set the hook.
You may be in for a long fight....but you should be able to reel one in if you take it easy, and keep up the tension on the line. Just don't let them spit out the hook....
