The fact that you are craving something more than your atheistic beliefs means you are more religious than you think. Why not try reading and STUDYING the Bible?

If you feel empty find someone less fortunate than you in some way and help them. Give some of your time and skills. Sit quietly and pray. Call someone and invite them to do something. Find someone you respect and ask them what they think about their religion. Go to a different church each Sunday till you find one that you feel comfortable in. In my opinion 'logic" is just a word, the same as "faith' and "hope". It's our thinking and feeling that make the words have meaning. There is a place for all of them in our life. Peace.

I have always been a Church of God person. Most people are afraid of the pentacostal churches, maybe just too much too fast. My advice to you is buy a NIV Bible and start to read. Start in Matthew which is the new testament and it will tell you that Jesus died for your sins and mine. The bible says we start out like babies. Trust that there is a one true God and He is there for you. He will not leave or forsake you. Then just try, make that first step toward a new life in Christ. Go to a Christian church. I'm not sayin you have to believe every preachers opinion but God will give you what you need from every sermon, every TV preacher. I will pray for your heart to be open and God show you the way He wants you to go:) God Bless You and Keep You

Christianity: there's actually a lot of historic evidence for Christ living, dying, and actually, the evidence points to Him actually rising from the dead.
Plus, if you research debates such as how old the Earth is, if a large flood did indeed happen on Earth, ect... you'll find that the evidence definitely points to what the Bible claims.
Go ahead and research them, and keep an open mind, and you'll see Christianity is telling the truth.

you know those who answer to give you a suggestion is going to give their own as it means so much to them personally and that's OK ...
but take each answer they give and do a little study on each , ask more questions about each also
make sure the one you choose is one that fits best with your own beliefs
i am a spiritualist and we believe in life after death and communication with spirit via a medium
ill give you a link to spiritualism then you can have a read over in your own time to see if it helps with your decision
this is best for me and may not be best for you
but i hope you find what you are looking for sweetheart xx

I'm sorry you feel this way. I don't want to push my beliefs on you...but no one has "all" the answers. However, Jesus did say He was the "truth, the life and the way". Perhaps you can take some time, read the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John)...and see what happens.
I pray God lead you to His truth, that you can know perfect peace.

Dear Just Annudakid,
i think you are in a place where you're looking for a lot of answers, so maybe the easiest way is to answer your questions one by one. i'm a Christian and i have found that it answers all my questions... i don't think you could or should believe because someone tells you (you have lots of questions that need answering), so just offering to answer those for you...

Oh sure, "read the gospels" ... just ignore the really rotten parts of that book. Though there is some good woman hating in that part.
I think this explains it all:

I don't have a religion. I do have a relationship with someone though. Jesus is my savior, friend, helper, and life. My advice don't look for a religion look for Jesus.

Nah. Religion is do it yourself stuff. You have to study and find one for yourself. Religion is very personal choice.
