and is dive bombing me, my dogs and my friends...I don't want to hurt it, but it's getting bolder by the minute....swooping and hitting me in the back or the head...all over my dog's bodies! I went out with a cane today and it seems a bit better, but now it's at my window looking in and "chirping" constantly!!! HELP!!!

Not much you can do until their young ones leave the nest. Just try to avoid walking near the nest area if you can. If not, then ge used to ducking. They will not hurt you...just trying to guard their nest/hatchlings.

I think Stratos is right. The bird is most likely protecting its young. I've experienced this a couple of times and in all cases it was a mother guarding the nest.

Just leave them alone and it will pass. They're just trying to be good parents.

Just give it time...breeding season is coming to a close, the babies should be leaving your yard soon. The adults are just protecting their babies from predators....you and your dogs(as far as the bird is concerned).

well i think that you should call animal control or maybe just set up some food farther away from your house that way the bird will have no reason to come near you, or your pups
